Bali Ijen Bromo Yogyakarta Tour (6 Days / 5 Nights)


🗓️ Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Bali to Banyuwangi – Gateway to Mount Ijen

  • Morning pick-up from your hotel in Bali (Seminyak, Kuta, Canggu, Ubud, etc.)

  • Scenic drive to Gilimanuk Harbour, ferry crossing to East Java (Ketapang Port)

  • Arrival in Banyuwangi, transfer toa  hotel near Mount Ijen

  • Free time to relax, dinner at a local restaurant (optional)

  • Overnight in Banyuwangi

Day 2: Ijen Crater Blue Fire Trek – Transfer to Mount Bromo

  • Midnight departure (around 1:00 AM) for the Ijen Crater hike

  • Witness the mystical blue fire phenomenon and sunrise over the acidic crater lake

  • Return to the hotel for breakfast and a short rest

  • Overland drive to Mount Bromo area (approx. 6–7 hours)

  • Check in at the hotel near Mount Bromo

  • Evening at leisure

  • Overnight near Mount Bromo

Day 3: Bromo Sunrise Tour – Train to Yogyakarta

  • Early morning 4WD jeep ride to Mount Penanjakan for a sunrise view over Bromo and Semeru

  • Explore the Sea of Sand and hike (or ride a horse) to Bromo crater rim

  • Return to the hotel, breakfast and check out

  • Transfer to Surabaya or Malang train station

  • Afternoon/evening train to Yogyakarta

  • Arrival and transfer to the hotel

  • Overnight in Yogyakarta

Day 4: Yogyakarta Heritage Tour – Borobudur Temple

  • Visit the UNESCO-listed Borobudur Temple at sunrise or in the morning

  • Continue with a city tour: Kraton (Sultan’s Palace) and Taman Sari Water Castle

  • An optional batik or silver craft workshop

  • Overnight in Yogyakarta

Day 5: Prambanan Temple & Leisure

  • Visit the majestic Prambanan Hindu temple complex

  • Afternoon is free to explore Malioboro Street or local culinary spots

  • Optional Ramayana Ballet performance at Prambanan (based on schedule)

  • Overnight in Yogyakarta

Day 6: Departure from Yogyakarta

  • Breakfast at the hotel

  • Transfer to Yogyakarta International Airport

  • End of tour – safe travels!
